What changed, and why it matters
This commit simply adds the USB product ID for a new Ledger hardware wallet model (Nano generation 5) to Monero's list of supported Ledger devices. It is a one-line addition to a device identification table and does not change any security logic, cryptography, or transaction handling.
No security action required. This is a routine hardware compatibility update.
Security signals we found
No strong security signals were identified.
Evidence from the diff
The patch adds the USB VID/PID tuple {0x2c97, 0x0008, 0, 0xffa0} to the device_ledger.cpp table of recognized Ledger Nano devices. This allows the Monero wallet software to detect and connect to the new Ledger Nano S Plus / Nano gen5 hardware when connected via USB. No protocol, parsing, or cryptographic code is modified.
