depends: latest config.guess & config.sub
What changed, and why it matters
This commit updates two helper scripts used during Bitcoin Core's build process to the latest versions from the GNU project. These scripts only detect what kind of computer and operating system is being used so the build can choose the right settings. The changes add support for newer or less common platforms (Ironclad, mlibc, sw_64) and update copyright years. There is nothing here that changes how Bitcoin handles money, network messages, wallets, or cryptography.
No security action needed. Treat as routine build-system maintenance.
Security signals we found
No strong security signals were identified.
Evidence from the diff
The patch refreshes depends/config.guess and depends/config.sub to the 2026-05-17 upstream snapshots from GNU config. The diff is limited to: copyright-year bumps, recognition of the Ironclad kernel and mlibc C library, addition of the sw_64 CPU, and an Ironclad OS default change from mlibc to gnu. These files are purely autotools triplet detection/validation scripts; they do not alter consensus, networking, wallet, or cryptographic code.
